If you are aged 14 or under, we want to read your nature-themed stories for our short story competition to celebrate a new library garden outside Wood Green Library.
Put your creative thinking caps on and write a 500 word short story inspired by gardening, wildlife, and the environment for a chance to win prizes including a selection of books and your own plant to look after!
Library Garden Short Story Competition
This competition has been organised by GrowN22 C.I.C and Future Wood Green - BID and combines books and gardening (two of our favourite things!). The aim is to raise awareness of the library and the garden, for people to use these spaces more, and to promote a love for nature, reading, and creativity across Haringey.
In addition, GrowN22 has partnered with Nextdoor; The Social Network for Neighbourhoods.
Details of our judging panel will be released soon. In the meantime have a look at the exclusive prizes!
Please note that this competition is now closed. The judging panel have reviewed the entries and GrowN22 have announced the winners. Thank you to everyone that took part in the Library Garden Short Story Competition.
