The Curve Planter

Grow N22 and The Cranbrook Park Resident Association joined forces in June 2019 and constructed Wood Green's first Curved and edible planter!

About CPRA

The Cranbrook Park Residents Association (or ‘CPRA’ for short) was formed in November 2017. It is open to all residents who live in Cranbrook Park, St. Albans Crescent, Gathorne Road and Berners Road.

As part of its constitution, one of the aims of our group is to ‘maintain…and enhance the area as a peaceful residential neighbourhood’ as well as to ‘promote good neighbourliness.’

Some of the group activities we have organized so far are two Litter Picking days (one in 2018 and another in 2019) and the planting of spring bulbs last September.

Since November 2018, we have also been working with the Community Interest Company Edible Landscapes London to design and create a Forest Garden planting scheme for our local park, Albany Park. So far we have planted two fruit trees and several vines / climbers around the perimeter of the park.

In May this year, the CPRA was awarded a grant from Haringey Councils Small Parks and Open Spaces scheme. With the money from this grant, our aim is to create a raised edible / flower bed in front of the hedges in the Park. This bed will be maintained by the local residents, as will the other fruit trees and plants that we have already planted in the Park.

The CPRA usually holds its regular meetings at the Wood Green Library.
