We are excited to share with you that we are working with Haringey Council and Jan Kattein Architects to bring Haringey’s first parklet and the first of its kind in London, to Noel Park! After securing funding from the Mayor of London’s Grow Back Greener Fund, this unused section of road at the intersection of Gladstone Ave and Vincent Rd will be transformed into a community-led space for people to connect with nature 🍃
The space will accommodate community events and workshops hosted by GrowN22, as well as being a space for rest, relaxation and exploration 🌿
We have already been working with the young people at Noel Park Primary School to get their vision of what this space outside their school could become, and now we want to hear from local residents!
"A residential parklet can be used both as a resting point for people, and a play area for children" from Living Streets
21st April 2021: Noel Park Primary school students took part in workshops themed on nature and wildlife to aspire ideas for the Parklet.
