GrowN22’s and Enjoy Wood Green's Big Bulb Giveaway!

Every year, marking the dawn of spring, green spaces burst into colourful life as bulbs awaken. Enjoy Wood Green and GrowN22’s Big Bulb Giveaway is a social media based giveaway competition to encourage community interaction, urban greening, gardening, and active travel in Haringey.  We hope to inspire Haringey residents to add bulbs to their green spaces, so that we all have something colourful to look forward to at the end of winter.

Enjoy Wood Green and GrowN22 have acquired a large quantity of bulbs which are to be planted in community green spaces in Haringey. At GrowN22 sites, such as the Wood Green Library Garden, over 1,000 bulbs have been planted. This is part of the ongoing project to engage communities through the creation of green and social spaces in Haringey. In line with GrowN22’s core philosophy, the Big Bulb Giveaway enables individuals and communities to directly contribute to the transformation of unlikely and unloved places into vibrant and attractive green spaces in Haringey. 

The Big Bulb Giveaway puts the planting power into local residents’ hands, as they can add to or create green spaces free bulbs.
